All poetry comes from love
Love to the 7th Power
The debut poetry collection from acclaimed New York Times bestselling author Aubrey Marcus, a lifelong poet, renowned psychonaut, and lover of love. Marcus explores the seven types of love recognized by the ancient Greeks through evocative poetry paired with stunning illustrations.

Drama Poetica
Ridiculous Masterpiece
An advocate for audacity in self-expression and part-time cosmic vampire slayer, author & poet Caitlyn Siobhan Howe pours her heart out onto each page of this debut three-act hardcover. Bold, raw, and real; it's part diary, part play, all poetry, and all about one woman's true creative journey for deeper meaning.

A poetic pair
One mural,
Two books
To make these pair debut poetry books even more special, we worked with renowned artist Raúl Urias to create a single, thematic mural around the motifs in each book. Each book has one half of the mural, and together, the full story is told.

Iconography in design
Symbology
Poetry is inherently a vibrant, creative expression of thoughts as words. It can follow patterns, but it often shirks norms for the emotional impact and stylistic flow. We worked with one of the world’s best artists to match the creativity in words with an explosion of symbology. It’s art with a story that pairs with the substance of the books.

Eros & the Dolphin
Eros, the Greek god of love & desire. In Greek culture, his name also stood for a type of love dominated by sensual passion. Despite eros providing the etymology for erotic, our culture may know him best by what the Romans called him: Cupid.
The Greeks loved dolphins, as they symbolized friendship, guidance, protection, and rescue. They were sacred to Apollo and Poseidon, revered for their intelligence and helpfulness to humanity. Aphrodite, also associated with love, is often depicted as having them around — if not being a dolphin herself.
Together, they embody the most passionate expressions of love, and love’s capacity to guide, protect, transform, and bring joy to the human experience.

Aphrodite & the Seashell
Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, lust, beauty, passion, procreation, desire, sex, fertility, and more. She is the quintessential woman and grew in significance when the Romans absorbed the Greek gods, giving her the new name of Venus.
Often depicted with seashells (like scallops or conchs), these represent rebirth and divine femininity that radiates from the fan-like shape. The symmetry in the shell, the perfection of the pearls, all join to celebrate female beauty and the power to create life.
Aphrodite, or Venus, is most famously captured by Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus,” which serves as a primary influence on our own composition.
